Question:”Today my AC adapter stopped working, and I cannot charge my Eee. I’m pretty sure it’s the Asus ADP-90SB BB charger, because it does not charge from any AC outlet in the house, and the LED light on the adapter never comes on either. I am getting a voltmeter later today to test it as well, but I’m fairly positive its the AC adapter. Does anyone know where I can request a replacement? ”

Solution:”Did you make sure everything is plugged in properly and that it’s making contact? Mine is around 1 1/2 years old and I haven’t had a lick of trouble with it and I use it all the time. You might want to take it back to where you purchased it and ask them”

“Great question. Unfortunately, laptops can still break down internally even if the Asus ADP-90SB BB charger cord itself is perfectly fine. The “brick”, as we like to call it, is damaged internally. This unfortunately is something completely out of you control. Things “just happen.” The only fix to something like this is to get a new charger. The time and effort it would cost to attempt to fix the charger is insanely unfavorable. You should look into getting a new charger as soon as possible.

For a new Asus ADP-90SB BB adapter, laptop battery charger is by far the best website I have come across in terms of having good products with amazing service.

I’ve purchased from them before and they are true to their word. Free shipping with free lifetime warranty. Meaning, if the charger you purchased from them ever stops working, they would replace it for free, forever. So when the charger I got from them about a year ago decided to just stop working, they sent me a new one for free.

But before you do, Take out the battery on the computer you are having trouble with, It could be the asus laptop battery that is causing the problem and not the AC adapter.

The laptop will run on just the Asus EXA0904YH adapter with the battery removed. Faulty Batteries cause more problems then the asus AC adapter.

If the computer runs on with just AC adapter pluged in then replace the batt.”
