Your Sony VGP-BPL17 laptop has a small icon in the system tray that displays your battery’s current charge. Hovering your mouse over this icon displays your Sony VGP-BPL17 battery‘s charge percentage. Though this gauge is typically quite accurate, repeatedly charging your battery before you’ve fully exhausted it can cause it to fall out of calibration, which results in your displayed charge percentage not matching the actual charge level of your battery. Run your sx06xl through a complete charge cycle to calibrate the battery.
